Job summary

Ingram Micro Inc. in Sydney is seeking a Veeam Solutions Architect to lead the Veeam portfolio across reseller partners, internal sales teams and end customers.

You will provide pre‑sales leadership, design enterprise backup and cyber resilience solutions, and run demonstrations to accelerate opportunities. You will develop reference architectures, enable partners with workshops and training, and support vendor go‑to‑market initiatives to drive revenue.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in solution architecture, technical pre‑sales, infrastructure, cloud, data protection or a related technology role.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise backup, recovery and cyber resilience solutions.
• Strong Veeam Data Platform expertise is highly preferred.
• Experience working with technology partners, vendors, resellers or channel organisations.
• Strong experience in consultative selling and technical pre-sales.
• Excellent presentation, workshop facilitation and communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and business planning capability.
• Ability to influence technical and commercial stakeholders and drive outcomes.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, VMware, Hyper‑V and hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, solution design, architecture reviews, demonstrations and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Provide technical pre‑sales support to progress and close Veeam opportunities.
• Design enterprise backup, recovery and cyber resilience solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert across Veeam and data protection.
• Develop reference architectures and technical collateral to support growth.
