Job summary

Ingram Micro, Inc. seeks a Veeam Solutions Architect to lead pre-sales and solution design for the Veeam portfolio across reseller partners, internal teams and end customers in Australia.

You will develop cyber resilience, backup and cloud data protection solutions, mentor partners, and translate vendor strategy into opportunities while driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in solution architecture, technical pre-sales, infrastructure, cloud or data protection.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise backup, recovery and cyber resilience solutions.
• Strong Veeam Data Platform expertise is highly preferred.
• Experience working with technology partners, vendors, resellers or channel organisations.
• Strong experience in consultative selling and technical pre-sales.
• Excellent presentation, workshop facilitation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, VMware, Hyper-V and hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, solution design, architecture reviews, demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
• Provide technical pre-sales support to progress and close Veeam opportunities.
• Design enterprise backup, recovery and cyber resilience solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert across Veeam and data protection.
• Develop partner enablement plans to build technical capability and drive Veeam sales.
• Deliver technical workshops, training and enablement sessions.
• Support partner certifications, competencies and activation.
• Build strong relationships with partner technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Translate vendor strategy into opportunities for partners and customers.
• Develop reference architectures and technical collateral to support growth.
• Identify opportunities to expand Veeam adoption across partners and customers.
• Contribute to revenue, gross profit and forecast performance.
• Maintain strong expertise across the Veeam Data Platform, backup, disaster recovery and cyber resilience.
• Apply knowledge of VMware, Hyper‑V, Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud environments.
