Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification.
• Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum Digital Technologies and VCE study designs.
• Strong commitment to Catholic education.
• Accreditation to teach Religious Education required.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Skills to create an engaging, educational learning environment and differentiate instruction with technology.

Responsibilities

• Create a child-safe environment for students.
• Adhere to the school's Child Protection Policy and Staff Code of Conduct.
• Collaborate with Class/House Mentors, Education Support Team, Year Level/House Coordinators, School Psychologists, and Directors of Students to monitor progress and wellbeing.
• Provide timely marking and feedback to student work.
• Develop and deliver programs that leverage technology to enhance learning.
• Set and maintain high expectations for student performance.
• Comply with ongoing professional development requirements per VIT guidelines.
• Identify personal professional learning needs and participate in the annual Professional Learning Plan.
• Engage in internal and external professional development to improve teaching practices.
• Utilise varied teaching methods and resources to engage students.
