Job summary

De La Salle College Malvern, governed by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Limited (MACS), seeks a leave‑replacement teacher for VCE Computing, VCE Systems Engineering and Digital Technology from 19 October 2026 to year end. Remuneration follows the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).

Applicants must hold VIT registration; accreditation to teach Religious Education is advantageous.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification.
Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum Digital Technologies and VCE study designs.
Accreditation to teach Religious Education required
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Proficiency in implementing a differentiated curriculum and leveraging modern technology to support student learning.

Responsibilities

Create a child-safe environment for students.
Adhere to Child Protection Policy and Staff Code of Conduct.
Collaborate with school staff and mental health professionals to monitor student progress and wellbeing.
Provide timely marking and feedback to student work.
Develop and deliver programs leveraging technology to enhance learning.
Set and maintain high expectations for student performance.
Engage in professional development per VIT guidelines.
Identify personal professional learning needs and participate in annual planning.
