Job summary

De La Salle College Malvern, governed by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Limited (MACS), seeks a leave‑replacement teacher for VCE Computing, VCE Systems Engineering and Digital Technology from 19 October 2026 to year end. Remuneration follows the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).

Applicants must hold VIT registration; accreditation to teach Religious Education is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification.
• Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum Digital Technologies and VCE study designs.
• Accreditation to teach Religious Education required
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Proficiency in implementing a differentiated curriculum and leveraging modern technology to support student learning.

• Collaborate with school staff and mental health professionals to monitor student progress and wellbeing.

We are currently seeking teacher for VCE Computing, VCE Systems Engineering, and Digital Technology. This is a leave replacement position from 19 October 2026 to the end of the school year.

Remuneration will be based on experience, following the Teacher scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).

Job Description:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Creating a child-safe environment for students.
• Adhering to the school's Child Protection Policy and Child Safety Staff Code of Conduct.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders, such as Class/House Mentors, Education Support Team, Year Level/House Coordinators, School Psychologists, and Directors of Students, to monitor student progress and well-being.
• Providing timely marking and feedback to student work.
• Developing and delivering programs that leverage technology to enhance learning.
• Setting and maintaining high expectations for student performance standards.
• Complying with ongoing professional development requirements as per VIT guidelines.
• Identifying personal professional learning needs and participating in the annual Professional Learning Plan process.
• Actively engaging in internal and external professional development to enhance teaching practices.
• Utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources to effectively engage students in their learning journey.

Special Requirements:
