Job summary

The Operating Table in North Sydney is seeking an experienced Practice Clinic Manager to lead an established specialist surgical practice including a Urology focus. You will oversee day-to-day operations, staff leadership, scheduling, billing and quality patient care, while shaping efficient systems and culture.

Key requirements include prior experience managing a medical or specialist practice, strong Medicare knowledge, and familiarity with Genie/Gentu and Xero.

Qualifications

• Experience leading reception and administrative teams in a medical/specialist practice.
• Solid understanding of Medicare billing and private billing.
• Proven ability to improve workflows and practice systems.
• Experience managing a medical or specialist clinic.

Responsibilities

• Lead reception and admin staff, manage patient flow and scheduling.
• Oversee billing, Medicare compliance and financial reporting.
• Coordinate theatre schedules and procedures.
• HR tasks including rostering, recruitment and staff development.
• Drive process improvement and maintain professional standards.
