Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years in emergency care, triage, or ICU/CCU contexts.
• Experience in triage within an ED is preferred.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients in urgent care and triage with accuracy and empathy.
• Conduct nursing triage to assess needs and prioritize care.
• Identify emergencies and escalate promptly to safeguard patient health.
• Perform hands-on procedures such as suturing and plastering when required.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient records.
• Deliver patient-centered care and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with healthcare practitioners to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to safety policies and infection control standards.
• Contribute to a supportive, fast-paced urgent care environment.
