Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service in NSW, Australia. You will triage patients, provide front-line nursing care, and collaborate with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners to identify appropriate cases for the service.

This role offers diverse clinical experiences, including wound care, plastering, and emergency assessment, with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Registered Nurse.
• Available evenings and weekends.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting OR triage OR ICU/CCU/Rural or remote nursing.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients in urgent care.
• Conduct thorough and precise nursing triage.
• Assess patient deterioration and escalate emergencies when needed.
• Perform hands-on procedures such as suturing and plastering.
• Maintain meticulous documentation to support continuity of care.
• Champion workplace health and safety through active safety participation.
