Job summary

ForHealth Group in Australia is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Urgent Care Service. You will triage, provide frontline nursing care, and collaborate with the Urgent Care Medical Practitioner to identify appropriate cases for the service.

You will engage in wound care, plastering, and other procedures in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient-centered care and accurate documentation. This role emphasizes career growth within a leading urgent care network.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.
• Autonomous work style with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safe nursing practice.
• Willingness to obtain required background checks (Working with Children’s check, National Police check).

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients in urgent care and triage with empathy and confidence.
• Conduct thorough nursing triage and prioritize care for best outcomes.
• Perform hands-on procedural care such as suturing and plastering when needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and contribute to safety and quality standards.
