Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service. You will provide high-quality nursing support, triage patients promptly and collaborate with the Urgent Care Medical Practitioner to determine appropriate care.

Experience in emergency department, triage, and ICU/CCU is preferred. AHPRA registration is mandatory; working with children and police checks may be required. We offer no night shifts, strong career development, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Must be available evenings and weekends.
• Minimum 3 years as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in triage with emergency department and remote nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients in urgent care and triage with accuracy and empathy.
• Conduct thorough nursing triage and prioritise patient care.
• Identify emergencies or deterioration and escalate promptly.
• Perform hands-on clinical tasks such as suturing and plastering as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support continuity of care.
