Job summary

ForHealth Group is expanding its Urgent Care services across Australia and seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team.

You will perform triage, conduct timely patient assessments, provide wound care, and collaborate with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners to deliver high-quality care in a dynamic environment, with opportunities for professional development and a patient-centred approach.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• At least three years of Registered Nursing experience.
• At least three years of experience in Emergency Department nursing, triage, ICU/CCU, or rural and remote nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to recognise deterioration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient triage and clinical assessments prioritising care according to urgency.
• Recognise and elevate clinical deterioration and emergencies promptly.
• Assist with procedures and provide wound care, suturing and plastering within your scope of practice.
• Collaborate with medical practitioners, patients and families to support positive clinical outcomes.
• Provide patient education and promote health and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, safety and governance requirements.
• Report incidents and hazards and contribute to a safe environment.
