Job summary

The role

The Waiting Room, is seeking a Bar Supervisor to help lead the bar operations of this iconic venue. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key frontline leadership role within one of Perth's most recognised hospitality destinations.

As Bar Supervisor, you'll support the smooth delivery of daily service, mentor and guide a passionate bar team and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional, luxury level experience. Working closely with the Venue Manager and leadership team, you'll play an important role in upholding our high standards and maintaining bar excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing excellent customer service
• Ensuring guest satisfaction through time management and multi-tasking
• Strong attention to detail through both service and menu knowledge
• Lead and guide team members, while sharing your knowledge to upskill team members
• Forecast ahead of large events and ensure stock, staff and venue is prepared

About you

You’ll bring the following:

• Previous experience working within a Supervisory position in a bar environment
• Excellent time management
• Customer serviced focused with the want to learn and strive for excellence

To be successful, you’ll:

• Hold or willing to obtain a current Approved Managers License & RSA

This role requires you:

• Work across a rotating roster of morning, daytime, and evening shifts
• Have previous supervisory experience in a busy venue
• Cocktail and wine knowledge
