Job summary

Alinta Apparel is seeking a casual Uniform Shop Assistant to join our team in Dubbo. The role involves customer engagement, selling school uniforms, advising on sizing and requirements, and creating a welcoming shop experience across our onsite stores at St Johns College Dubbo and Macquarie Anglican Grammar.

You will handle enquiries by email, phone and in-store, operate the POS, restock, stocktake and maintain store presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience working in a supervisor role.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Competent in using a POS System.
• Commitment and willingness to go ‘the extra mile’ for our staff and customers.
• A high level of written and oral communication skills.
• The ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• The ability to develop and maintain long term relationships with stakeholders.
• The ability to problem solve and be a team player.
• A high level of store pride, with particular attention to detail on store cleanliness and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Answer basic customer enquiries via email, phone and in-store.

• Restocking shelves and maintaining store presentation.

• Fitting student uniforms.
• Reconciling the till
• Liaising with Head Office and key stakeholders within our schools
• Manage shop cleanliness and presentation within our stores

About The Role

We are looking for a casual Uniform Shop Assistant to our team. This position will be required to travel between our onsite retail shops at St Johns College Dubbo and Macquarie Anglican Grammar This role is perfect for someone who loves engaging with customers, has a good eye for detail and is committed to providing exceptional service for our customers by assisting with their purchases and providing information and advice on uniform sizing and requirements to create a welcoming shop experience.

Main duties will include:
