Job summary

Alinta Apparel is seeking a casual Uniform Shop Assistant to join our team. The role involves engaging with customers, processing sales, and providing information on uniform sizing and requirements to create a welcoming shop experience.

You will support with sales, restocking, and maintaining store standards while following company policies and ensuring exceptional service across our school uniform shops.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisor role.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Competent in using a POS System.

About The Role

We are looking for a casual Uniform Shop Assistant to our team. This position will be required to travel between our onsite retail shops at St Johns College Dubbo and Macquarie Anglican Grammar This role is perfect for someone who loves engaging with customers, has a good eye for detail and is committed to providing exceptional service for our customers by assisting with their purchases and providing information and advice on uniform sizing and requirements to create a welcoming shop experience.

Main duties will include:

• Answer basic customer enquiries via email, phone and in-store.
• Operating the POS system and processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Restocking shelves and maintaining store presentation.
• Reconciling the till
• Liaising with Head Office and key stakeholders within our schools
• Manage shop cleanliness and presentation within our stores
