Club Marine have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Underwriter where you will be responsible for providing underwriting service to our direct customers and Member Service Specialists team, while working collaboratively with our broader underwriting and distribution teams to ensure our customers are put at the heart of our decision‑making.

This role will suit a motivated individual who works well in a team environment with a strong customer service focus and a desire to learn.

About the role

Based in our Melbourne, VIC office, with a minimum of 2 days in the office as part of our hybrid model with a shared roster Monday to Friday between 8:00am – 6:00pm.

Work closely with a team to ensure positive customer outcomes are achieved through sales and service.

Follow processes and apply customer sales & service techniques to achieve sales, service and quality targets.

Managing inbound and outbound sales call & correspondence, within set service level agreements.

Support balanced portfolio growth by aligning business decisions with organisational goals, focusing on sustainable profitability and long‑term value.

Manage day‑to‑day workflows to ensure the consistent delivery of high‑quality, reliable products and services.

About you

Customer-focused and service-oriented, bringing enthusiasm, empathy, and a commitment to delivering positive, high‑quality experiences.

Experience in the insurance industry or practical boating knowledge would be advantageous.

Organised and dependable.

Motivation to continue to expand, learn and develop within a high performing team.
