Mount Isa Mines is seeking multiple skilled Special Servicepersons for the George Fisher Mine in Mount Isa, Queensland. These underground roles in the Fill & Services Department require installing or repairing mine services, including vent ducting and bulkheads, with a 7 on 7 off day/night roster.

Reporting to the Fill & Services Supervisor, you will work with underground crews to ensure safe and efficient task completion, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and high performance.

Formación

• Current Australian Drivers Licence.
• Hard working, reliable and able to work unsupervised.
• Strong focus on completing the job safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent trouble-shooting & problem solving skills.
• Flexible approach and adaptable to change with a high attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Install or repair underground vent, air, water and drain reticulation systems and related infrastructure.
• Assist construction crews as required.
• Engage with multiple department stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
