Epiroc Mt Isa invites applications for Underground Drill Fitters and Service Technicians. Join a team that services underground and surface mining equipment, performing maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on a diverse fleet.

Roles offer 12-hour shifts with 7/7 or 8/6 rosters and FIFO or residential options in Mt Isa. Candidates should have Mechanical/Heavy Diesel trade qualifications, experience with underground drilling equipment, and strong knowledge of RCS4 and Simba systems.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Heavy Diesel trade qualification or dual trade
• Experience with underground drilling equipment and underground Simba drills
• Knowledge of RCS4 systems and Simba operations
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance
• Customer-facing experience considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and team members
• Carry out repairs, rebuilds and maintenance on Epiroc equipment
• Service mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and RCS systems
• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment faults
• Provide technical product support to customers across Mt Isa region
• Support heavy mobile plant rebuilds and safe operations
