Job summary

Aurelia Metals is seeking an Underground Training Advisor to develop and deliver training for our Peak Mine operations, supporting the Great Cobar Project. Reporting to the Learning & Development Superintendent, you will deliver inductions, assess competency, and help miners build successful careers.

The role emphasizes safety, capability development, and records management using the LMS. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and relevant underground experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering underground training in mining operations.
• Competency verification and assessment is required.
• Experience maintaining training records in an LMS.
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications preferred.
• TAE Certification and relevant licensing are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver underground inductions and accredited courses (First Aid, CPR, LVR, Confined Space).
• Assess and verify operator competency to ensure safe performance.
• Develop and maintain fit-for-purpose training programs and materials.
• Maintain accurate training records in LMS.
• Support audits and compliance activities.
• Coach and develop teams for underground capability.
