Job summary

Gold Fields Australia Pty Limited is actively seeking an experienced Underground Supervisor for the Agnew gold mine. You will lead underground crews, oversee daily production and development activities, and mentor your team to maintain high safety and efficiency standards.

Reporting to the Coordinator Underground Production, the role emphasizes leadership, teamwork and delivering results underground within a supportive leadership structure.

Qualifications

• Underground supervisory experience in mining environments.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide underground crews.
• Ability to plan, forecast and optimize underground production and development.
• Certified Underground Supervisor per 2022 Regulations.
• Dangerous Goods Security Card may be required.
• Valid manual C Class Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise underground crews to deliver safe, efficient shift outcomes.
• Plan and supervise daily operations, address technical issues and improvement opportunities.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Coach and mentor crew members to build capability and high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with partners and coordinators to implement initiatives and development plans.

Base + Site & Health Allowances + Bonuses

• FIFO from Perth I 8:6 days, 7:7 nights rotating roster at Agnew gold mine
• Drive safe and efficient underground production and development in a dynamic mining environment
• Underground Supervisor Certificate (2022 Regulations) required

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Underground Supervisor to lead a high-performing crew and drive safe and efficient production at Agnew gold mine.

Working with a supportive leadership team, you'll play a key role in supervising daily production and development activities, mentoring your crew and ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven underground supervisory experience in mining environments
