Job summary

Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd at the Agnew Gold Mine is hiring a geology technician to provide quality technical support for safe, efficient exploration. You will assist AC/RC drilling programs, support core processing, QAQC sample handling, and coordinate sample prep and dispatch with the exploration team.

This on-site, permanent role offers a 6% site allowance, quarterly bonus up to 10%, private health allowance, generous leave, parental leave and a $10K referral bonus, with FIFO or

• Current manual driver licence and forklift licence.
• Experience in a similar role within the mining/resources environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with AC/RC drilling programs including sampling and rock chip collection.
• Support diamond drill core processing, cutting and sampling activities.
• Maintain QAQC standards for sample handling and geological data collection.
• Coordinate sample preparation and dispatch to assay laboratories.
• Assist geologists with field-based exploration activities and data recording.
