Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking a hands-on Exploration Geology Support role at the Agnew Gold Mine. The position offers FIFO or residential options from Perth, with a day shift on a 8/6 roster. You will provide practical geology support across drilling programs and field-based exploration activities.

Ideal candidates have mining environment experience, a manual driver's license, and a forklift license, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork within the Exploration team.

Qualifications

• Valid manual driver's license is required.
• Forklift licence is required.
• Experience in mining/resources environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with AC/RC drilling programs including sampling and rock chip collection.
• Support diamond drill core processing, cutting and sampling activities.
• Maintain QAQC standards for sample handling and geological data collection.
• Coordinate sample preparation and dispatch to assay laboratories.
• Assist geologists with field-based exploration activities and data recording.
