29Metals is looking for an Underground Structural Technician to join the Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. The role operates on a rotating roster (8:6 days, 7:7 nights) and focuses on collecting and processing geospatial data with advanced laser technology to support mine design and geological modelling.

Key duties include data access collaboration, heading data capture, LiDAR surveys, monitoring ground support, and core logging support.

Qualificações

• Exposure to underground mining environments preferred.
• Experience as a mine, geotechnical, or geological technician is desirable.
• Physical fitness and autonomous work capability required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with mining operations to access headings for data capture.
• Wash headings and safely set up geotechnical equipment.
• Perform survey resections, LiDAR, and other scans for geotechnical assessments.
• Monitor ground support quality and record deterioration over time.
• Assist with core logging for structural and rock mass analysis.
