Job summary

Larvotto Resources is seeking an Underground Service Crew operator in Armidale, NSW. This permanent role with relocation provided supports safe mining operations and the maintenance of underground services across development and production areas.

Roster is 7 on / 7 off with rotating day and night shifts. A strong safety focus and ability to work in a small crew are essential, with certifications such as Shotfirer’s, Heights and Confined Space viewed favorably.

Qualifications

• Previous underground service crew, nipper or ground support experience.
• Hazard awareness in confined underground environments.
• Self-management and ability to coordinate multiple work fronts under minimal supervision.
• Willing to turn your hand to whatever is required to support the team.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work well in a small crew.
• Shotfirer’s ticket and additional certifications highly regarded.
• Work Safely at Heights Ticket.
• Confined Space Ticket.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain underground services and ground support systems for safe mining operations.
• Manage ventilation, water, paste/backfill services, cable hanging, blast barricading, infrastructure installation and scaling.
• Ensure operational readiness across development and production areas and contribute to safety and structural integrity.
