Job summary

Tomingley Gold Operations seeks an experienced Underground Shift Supervisor to manage the crew and ensure safe execution of the mine plan in Central West NSW. The role supports two shift supervisors per shift to cover production and development.

Reporting to the Mine Superintendent, you will lead safety, planning and daily work coordination, with a focus on delivering production outcomes while maintaining regulatory compliance and crew welfare.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Underground Supervisor Certificate of Competency and an up-to-date Practicing Certificate.
• Proven ability to manage safety and welfare of employees.
• Extensive supervisory experience.
• Thorough understanding of underground mining techniques and production optimisation.
• Understanding of relevant statutory and mining regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mining operations are conducted safely and efficiently; report safety issues to Mine Superintendent.
• Conduct daily supervision of mine working areas per acts and regulations.
• Plan daily work and lead toolbox meetings.
• Optimize resources to achieve production outcomes.
• Provide guidance and direction to the mining crew.
• Create training, mentoring and succession plans for your crew.
