Job summary

REDPATH MINING seeks a Shift Supervisor for Lake Cowal, NSW. You will lead underground crews, drive safe production and ensure compliance with plans and regulations. The role reports to the Underground Production Superintendent and operates on a 2/2 roster.

You will foster a strong safety culture, coordinate resources, and develop team capability while maintaining high standards of operational excellence on site.

• Significant underground mining experience with supervisory exposure.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead underground mining crews during shift operations.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture.
• Achieve production and development targets safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate personnel, equipment and materials for shift efficiency.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings, inspections and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures and regulations.
• Mentor team members and drive performance improvements.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
