Job summary

Redpath Mining Inc. seeks an experienced Underground Shift Supervisor for the Lake Cowal Underground Gold Mine in New South Wales. You will lead underground crews, drive development and production activities, and ensure safety, compliance, and high performance across shifts.

You will supervise day-to-day operations, coordinate plans with engineering and maintenance, and mentor team members to sustain productivity while upholding strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Significant underground hard rock mining experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience overseeing underground development and/or production crews.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Commitment to safety leadership and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead underground mining crews across development and production activities.
• Coordinate daily work plans to achieve targets.
• Ensure activities comply with site procedures and safety standards.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and safety interactions.
• Monitor workforce performance and provide coaching.
• Manage hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance and technical teams.
• Investigate incidents and hazards and report issues.
• Maintain shift reports and production records.
• Foster a strong safety culture and positive team environment.
