Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Service Crew to lead and mentor underground service crew on shift across WA sites, with FIFO from Perth. You will coordinate daily activities, oversee ventilation and ground support, and drive safety and compliance in a high‑performing underground operation.

The role requires proven leadership, strong underground experience, and a current C‑Class driver’s license, with full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Underground service crew experience is essential.
• Previous leading hand or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven leadership and strong safety focus required.
• C-Class Driver’s Licence is required.
• Current National Police Clearance DGSC or willingness to obtain.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Service Crew operators on shift.
• Coordinate daily service crew activities to meet production targets.
• Oversee ventilation installation (fans, vent bags, ducting).
• Supervise ground support and services installation (air, water, paste).
• Drive safety standards, hazard management and compliance.
• Support production crews (jumbo, bogger, charge-up).
• Manage dewatering systems, pumps and underground services.
• Complete shift reports, pre-starts and inspections.
