Job summary

Catalyst Metals Limited invites applications for a Mining Supervisor to lead underground crews, driving safe, productive outcomes and supporting growth of our underground operations. You will mentor teams and influence how we operate within a strong safety culture at our WA site.

With long mine life and exposure to multiple ore bodies, you will manage up to 20 crew members, ensure compliance with plans and regulations, and collaborate with technical services to implement improvements while

Qualifications

• WA Underground Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency required.
• Knowledge of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations.
• Current WA C-Class Driver’s Licence.
• First Aid certification required.
• Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC).
• The ability to obtain National Police Clearance.
• Previous remnant underground mining experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set and uphold a high standard of work with strong safety leadership.
• Lead crews of up to 20 people to meet production targets.
• Fulfil responsibilities as the Statutory Appointed Underground Shift Supervisor per legislation.
• Ensure compliance with mining plans, site procedures and regulations.
• Mentor and develop underground operators and team members.
• Collaborate with Technical Services to identify and implement improvements.
• Work with Maintenance and other key stakeholders.
• Drive accountability, performance and continuous improvement within your team.
• Demonstrate visible safety leadership and proactive risk management.
