Job summary

Yuxin Holdings Pty is seeking an experienced Underground Shift Supervisor to lead our mining team at the Pajingo operation. Reporting to the Mine Manager, you will drive daily production targets while upholding top safety and regulatory standards.

You will oversee underground crews, mentor team members, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic underground operation. This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on safety, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' underground mining experience.
• Experience supervising underground mining crews and leading teams.
• Strong risk management and safety leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and leadership to underground mining crews.
• Ensure production and development targets are achieved safely each shift.
• Conduct workplace inspections and maintain records.
• Lead risk assessments and implement controls.
• Manage workforce training and competency requirements.
• Supervise underground contractors, including drilling activities.
