Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Scheduling Engineer at Northparkes Operations to develop and maintain weekly underground schedules supporting production targets. You will work closely with Operations and Technical Services, ensure plans are achievable, and contribute to continuous improvement and safety.

Based at Northparkes with involvement in the E22 Underground Project, you will analyse variances, manage data, and collaborate across teams to optimise execution and mine design accuracy.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in underground hard rock mining with scheduling exposure.
• Proficiency with mine planning software (Deswik, Surpac, VentSim).
• Strong problem solving, planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly development and production schedules.
• Monitor schedule performance, analyse variances and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and Technical teams to align plans.
• Prepare and issue mine designs with accurate data and version control.
• Identify risks and constraints to support safe and efficient execution.
