Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a safety-focused UG Development – Logistics/Serviceperson to join our Underground team at Northparkes. You will support development activities by ensuring crews have the materials and explosives required to work safely and efficiently.

You will operate underground service trucks and transport explosives, ground support consumables and other materials across the site, coordinating with development crews to maintain productivity.

Qualifications

• Current HR Class Australian Drivers Licence – Desirable
• Forklift Ticket – Desirable
• Working at heights certification or ability to obtain
• Security clearance to handle explosives or ability to obtain
• Strong commitment to safety as a way of work
• Well developed Literacy and Numeracy skills

Responsibilities

• Safely operating underground service trucks and support equipment.
• Transporting and delivering explosives, emulsion and blasting accessories in accordance with site procedures and legislative requirements.
• Delivering ground support consumables including bolts, mesh, resin and other development materials to active work areas.
• Supporting underground logistics and materials movement activities to ensure development schedules are achieved.
• Conducting pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks.
• Maintaining accurate records relating to explosives and materials handling.
• Assisting with stock management and materials distribution underground.
