Evolution Mining's Northparkes Operations is seeking a Mining Engineer to support the E22 Underground Project, delivering safe, efficient mine design and planning for a large block cave development.

You'll work across design, planning and contractor engagement, with exposure to critical path analysis and large-scale project delivery, while enjoying flexible rosters and strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in underground mining operations.
• Exposure to mine design and short- to medium-term planning.
• Deswik CAD, IS and Sched capability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with operational and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver the E22 Block Cave Project safely, efficiently and in line with project objectives.
• Contribute to mine design, planning and critical path tracking activities.
• Support weekly and monthly planning with Technical Services and Operations.
• Assist with contractor engagement and performance across workstreams.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement to enhance performance.

What’s the opportunity?

This is your opportunity to play a key role in delivering the E22 Underground Project, one of the most significant growth projects in the future of Northparkes.

As our Mining Engineer, you'll work across mine design, planning and project execution activities, supporting the successful delivery of a large scale block cave development including twin declines and associated infrastructure. You'll contribute directly to project outcomes while gaining exposure to underground mine planning, contractor management, critical path analysis and large scale project delivery.

Working on a residential or DIDO 5:2 roster, flexible roster of 8:6 FIFO may be considered you'll enjoy a strong work life balance while contributing to a project that will help shape the next generation of mining at Northparkes.

Reporting to the Principal Mining Engineer, you'll:

• Help deliver the E22 Block Cave Project safely, efficiently and in line with key project objectives.
• Contribute to mine design, planning and critical path tracking activities that drive project success.
• Support weekly and monthly planning processes alongside Technical Services and Operations teams.
• Assist with contractor engagement and performance across project and operational workstreams.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance technical and operational performance.
