Job summary

BHP Group is seeking a Multi-Skilled Mobile Plant Operator for underground duties at Olympic Dam. Operate CAT graders, loaders, backhoes, ITs and trucks to support road maintenance and infrastructure in the underground mine.

The role requires prior mobile equipment experience in mining or civil settings, a strong safety focus, and the ability to work across functional teams to meet mine schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience operating mobile plant equipment (graders, loaders, backhoes, ITs and trucks) in mining or civil settings.
• Underground mining experience is desirable but not required.
• Strong commitment to HSEC behaviours and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground road maintenance equipment to keep haulage routes safe and operational.
• Support road grading, sheeting, bogging and drainage tasks as part of the maintenance team.
• Collaborate with site teams to meet mine schedules and safety standards.
