Olympic Dam Mine, operated by the largest mining company in the world, BHP, is approximately 550km North-West of Adelaide, mining copper, gold, and uranium. As one of the largest contractors on site, you will gain valuable experience to help grow your maintenance career in underground mining.

We specialise in shaft sinking, mine development, contract mining, raiseboring, underground construction, engineering & technical services, and specialty services in the mining and construction sectors.

The role involves

Grade decline and levels and service work as required
Conduct proactive roadway repairs
Ensure the safe and efficient completion of all tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Ensure machinery used is cleaned and serviced regularly, and report any mechanical issues or damage immediately

We are looking for

Experience in the operation of graders underground and underground road maintenance machinery
Nationally accredited Grader ticket/Licence
Valid manual drivers licence
A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto "Consider it done — safely"
