Job summary

Redpath Mining Inc. is seeking an Alternate Project Manager to provide operational leadership for underground mining operations in Western Australia.

You will assist the Project Manager in delivering safe, efficient and profitable underground mining activities while ensuring compliance with statutory, client and company requirements. Qualifications

• Significant underground mining experience.
• Experience in a Superintendent, Alternate Project Manager, Project Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Mining qualifications and statutory certifications highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in day-to-day management of underground mining operations.
• Lead and promote a strong safety culture across all work areas.
• Ensure project activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Monitor production performance and assist with achieving operational targets.
• Coordinate labour, equipment, and resources to maximise productivity.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and site personnel.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and development opportunities for supervisors and site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, company procedures, and client requirements.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, productivity, and profitability.
• Prepare and review operational reports and project performance data.
