Job summary

Norseman Operations is seeking an experienced Alternate Project Manager to lead underground mining projects, reporting to the Project Manager and driving safe, efficient delivery of targets. This role requires collaboration with site leadership, operations teams, and stakeholders.

You will oversee safety, production performance, workforce development, and commercial considerations while upholding safety and quality standards, and promoting operational excellence across the site.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in project management roles within underground mining.
• Experience leading production teams and managing safety and production objectives.
• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, Engineering or Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead underground mining activities to meet production and development targets.
• Coordinate personnel, equipment and resources to maximise performance and efficiency.
• Manage budgets, cost control, forecasting and financial reporting for projects.
