Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter/Mechanic.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams in underground mining.
• Strong knowledge of heavy mobile equipment maintenance.
• Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• A proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Current manual driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support a team of maintenance technicians.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all work activities.
• Manage risk assessments, JSAs and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate preventative and planned maintenance programs.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed to established quality standards.
• Allocate personnel and resources to maximise productivity.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders and reports.
• Manage spare parts, tooling and maintenance inventory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance operations.
