Job summary
Concentis is hiring for an underground mining mechanical engineer to join a new North West Queensland project. Based on a new underground portal development, you will provide mechanical engineering support across EPC-delivered paste plant and underground services installation.
On an 8/6 roster, you will work with project, construction and contractor teams to manage documentation submissions and ensure progress and compliance, while contributing to mining technical services activities as
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with mining or heavy industry projects.
- Experience coordinating contractor workflows and submitting technical docs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Hands-on engineering on site.
Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical engineering support across project delivery activities.
- Support the EPC-delivered paste plant works and installation.
- Support underground mining services installation activities.
- Coordinate contractor workflows and documentation submissions.
- Assist with mining technical services activities when required.
- Work collaboratively with project, engineering and contractor teams.
