Job summary

Concentis is hiring for an underground mining mechanical engineer to join a new North West Queensland project. Based on a new underground portal development, you will provide mechanical engineering support across EPC-delivered paste plant and underground services installation.

On an 8/6 roster, you will work with project, construction and contractor teams to manage documentation submissions and ensure progress and compliance, while contributing to mining technical services activities as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with mining or heavy industry projects.
• Experience coordinating contractor workflows and submitting technical docs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Hands-on engineering on site.

You will join a new underground mining project in North West Queensland, supporting the development of a new underground portal and associated infrastructure. Working on an 8/6 roster, you will provide project mechanical engineering support across the EPC-delivered paste plant and underground mining services installation.

You will work closely with project, construction and contractor teams to support the delivery of mechanical works, while also providing assistance to mining technical services activities when required. Your technical services support will primarily involve coordinating contractor workflows and managing documentation submissions to help maintain project progress and compliance.

This is an opportunity to play a hands-on engineering role within a developing underground operation, contributing to the successful delivery of critical infrastructure and services.
