COSOL in Australia seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a portfolio of underground infrastructure projects at a major underground coal mining operation in Central Queensland.

This project-focused role covers planning, scoping and delivery of electrical infrastructure works within an underground mining environment, from early scoping through to handover. The FIFO arrangement from Brisbane includes flights, accommodation and paid travel.

Experience & Background

Candidates should have an Electrical Engineering background with relevant project or infrastructure experience.

Previous underground coal mining experience is preferred, particularly experience involving underground electrical and infrastructure systems.

Relevant exposure may include:

• Underground power distribution
• Conveyors and materials handling infrastructure
• Ventilation and surface fan infrastructure
• Development and longwall supporting infrastructure
• Electrical installations and upgrades
• Underground services and infrastructure projects
• Brownfield project delivery within operating mining environments

Candidates from other mining or heavy industrial project environments with strong electrical infrastructure experience will also be considered.

Location / Travel

The position is FIFO from Brisbane, with flights, accommodation and paid travel provided.
