Job summary

Evolution Mining's Ernest Henry Operations in Queensland is seeking a Mining Engineer to join the Technical Services team. You will develop weekly mine plans, design drill and blast plans, and coordinate cave management to ensure production targets.

You will inspect underground workings and drive projects that improve performance, working with operations and technical services colleagues. Ideal candidates hold a Mining Engineering degree and have underground mining experience, with Deswik

Degree in mining engineering or equivalent with underground mining experience.
Strong understanding of mine design and planning principles.
Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
Proactive problem-solving mindset with field experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and present weekly mine plans with stakeholders.
Design drill and blast plans to meet production targets safely.
Coordinate cave management activities to ensure ore availability.
Conduct regular underground inspections to support planning decisions.
Contribute to short-term projects improving mine performance.
Collaborate with operations and technical teams to deliver practical planning solutions.
