Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Supervisor – Development at Ernest Henry Operations to lead underground development crews and deliver development activities safely and in line with plans.

You will report to the Superintendent – Development, coordinating resources and ensuring production targets are met while upholding high safety and compliance standards. Based at Ernest Henry, you’ll support career growth and strong teamwork in an underground mining environment.

Qualifications

• Shift Supervisor competencies (S1, S2, S3) or equivalent statutory certification.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification and a valid driver’s licence.
• Significant underground hard rock mining experience with supervisory leadership.
• Strong knowledge of underground development practices, ground support, mining services, and statutory mining requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and communication skills to influence and motivate teams.
• Experience using mining and reporting systems such as INX, Pronto and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead underground development crews to safely achieve production targets.
• Coordinate people, equipment and resources to maximise performance.
• Work closely with Technical Services to execute mine plans.
• Coach and develop team members to build capability and career growth.
• Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership and risk management.
• Conduct workplace inspections, incident investigations and statutory reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
