Job summary

WorkPac Group seeks an experienced Mine Trades Technician for our underground workshop operations. You will perform maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment, diagnose faults, and complete preventative tasks.

The role requires a Mechanical Trade qualification, Standard 11, Coal Board Medical, and a valid Driver's Licence, with emphasis on safety and teamwork. Join a highly skilled underground maintenance team on a 7/7 roster with rotating day and night shifts, and enjoy excellent

About Our Client

Our client is a leading underground coal mining operation focused on safe and efficient production. Due to increased maintenance requirements, they are seeking an experienced Mine Trades Technician to support underground workshop operations.

What You Will Be Doing

Performing maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment

Conducting fault finding and diagnostic activities

Completing preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks

Inspecting equipment and ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules

Working collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime

Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation

Adhering to all site safety and operational procedures

What You Will Need

Mechanical Trade Qualification

Current Standard 11

Current Coal Board Medical

Current Driver's Licence
