Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Maintenance Technician to join our mining operations in Queensland. This role focuses on maintaining mine-site infrastructure to keep facilities, services and assets safe, reliable and fit for purpose.

You will be part of a collaborative site team, delivering planned maintenance, repairs and improvements across the operation. Key responsibilities include planned and breakdown maintenance, repairs to facilities and infrastructure, and

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure, maintenance, construction, civil or mine-site works.
• Practical, hands-on approach to maintenance and repairs.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Current driver’s licence and relevant site qualifications will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance on mine-site infrastructure
• Completing repairs to site facilities, access ways, fencing, drainage, water services and general infrastructure assets
• Assisting with minor civil, fabrication, installation and improvement works
• Identifying defects, hazards and maintenance requirements and reporting these promptly
• Using tools, plant and equipment safely and correctly
• Completing pre-start checks, risk assessments, permits and required site documentation
• Working closely with supervisors, maintenance teams and client representatives
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards across work areas
• Following all site safety, environmental and quality requirements

• Previous experience in infrastructure, maintenance, construction, civil or mine-site works

• Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic
• Current driver’s licence
• Construction White Card
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
• Relevant trade qualifications, plant tickets or civil experience will be highly regarded
