Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti Australia seeks a Mine Planning Engineer for the Sunrise Dam Underground team. You will deliver mine plans and schedules, interfacing with Drill & Blast, Operations and Geology to ensure plans are safe, practical, and aligned with budget and strategy. FIFO roster from Perth/ Kalgoorlie.

You will lead safety, communicate risks, and work within company values while supporting ongoing permanent work rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in mine planning, underground drill and blast and underground mine ventilation.
• Experience in mine design and scheduling software (Deswik).
• Strong communication skills to build relationships across levels.

Responsibilities

• Produce mine designs for the underground mine aligned with the plan and budget.
• Create stope and development designs to support the Short-Term Plan and Budget.
• Assist the Senior Planning Engineer with economic evaluations for production panels.
