BHP Group is seeking an experienced Mine Manager for Prominent Hill, SA. You will lead an underground copper‑gold operation, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost‑effective production while guiding the PHOX expansion and hoisting‑led model.

Manage a mixed workforce of BHP staff and 800+ contractors, focusing on safety and continuous improvement. The role requires a strong technical background in mining engineering, a First Class Mine Manager Certificate, and proven capability to deliver performance

Qualifications

Proven leadership in senior underground mining roles such as Mine Manager or Senior Superintendent.
Experienced in delivering safe and reliable underground production at scale.
Ability to influence outcomes in contractor-intensive environments.
Technical understanding of underground mining methods and planning.

Responsibilities

Lead safe, reliable, cost-efficient underground mining performance.
Provide visible safety leadership and embed risk management.
Manage owner and contractor teams to achieve safety, production and business goals.
Drive performance through partnerships and clear accountability.
Oversee integration of PHOX expansion and materials handling into operating model.
