Anglo American's Grosvenor Mine in Moranbah, QLD is seeking an experienced Technical Services Superintendent to lead technical support and mine planning for the underground longwall operation. You will combine technical excellence with people leadership, aligning technical priorities with operations to deliver practical, safe plans and support delivery of the mine plan.

Competenze

Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
Underground longwall mining experience with mine planning and operational technical support.
Experience leading technical professionals and coordinating competing priorities.
Strong understanding of development and longwall mining methods, sequencing and operational constraints.
Ability to interpret technical information and provide clear, practical recommendations.
Experience with mine planning software, technical reporting and data analysis.
Strong stakeholder engagement, problem solving and continuous improvement skills.

Mansioni

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary technical team, setting clear priorities and accountabilities.
Coordinate short- and medium-term mine planning, ensuring plans are practical, integrated and aligned with business objectives.
Integrate inputs from mining engineering, geology, geotechnical, survey, ventilation and gas management within the role’s scope.
Collaborate with development and longwall teams to identify constraints and support the mine plan delivery.
Identify, assess and communicate technical risks with controls in planning and operations.
Oversee the quality and timely delivery of mine designs, schedules and technical reports.
Monitor performance against plans and drive improvements in planning accuracy, systems and efficiency.
Manage departmental resources, contractors and expenditure within budgets.
Promote a strong safety culture and maintain technical standards.
