Job summary

RCT Powered by Epiroc in Perth is seeking a commercially minded Product Manager – Underground Automation to own the underground automation and data product portfolio and drive strategy across global markets.

You will work closely with customers, Sales, Engineering and the wider Epiroc Group to translate needs into product solutions, shape roadmaps and manage products through their lifecycle, delivering value and growth for the business and customers alike.

Qualifications

• Electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering background.
• Minimum five years in Product Management or similar role.
• Strong understanding of RCT products and mining industry.
• Proven ability to engage customers and identify commercial opportunities.
• Experience creating roadmaps, requirements and user-focused docs.
• Proven collaboration with engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive product strategy and growth by maximizing commercial value.
• Own the product lifecycle from requirements to obsolescence.
• Shape roadmaps using customer feedback and market trends.
• Champion the customer experience with direct customer engagement.
• Collaborate with Engineering to define requirements.
• Monitor product performance through feedback and faults.
• Manage warranty and support budgets.
• Collaborate across Epiroc for integration opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for product innovation and rationalisation.
