Job summary
Epiroc is seeking a Software Engineer for the RCS Applications group in Perth, WA. This role strengthens the link between field operations and global R&D, focusing on analysing field performance and implementing software improvements to enhance reliability and product quality.
You will work with site teams, customers, and global engineering to accelerate innovation, support deployments, and embed automation expertise within the region.
Qualifications
- Degree in Software Engineering, Automation or related field; automation experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills (essential).
- Experience with RCS, autonomous mining systems, and industrial integration (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Safety compliance with site and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert support in RCS applications and automation systems.
- Support deployments, commissioning and field trials.
- Analyse field issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop and implement software fixes and improvements.
- Integrate automation solutions with customer systems.
- Enable technology transfer and support local teams.
- Support advanced RCS functions and integrations.
- Translate field insights into product and R&D improvements.
