Lake Imaging Pty Ltd is seeking an Ultrasound Supervisor based in Geelong to lead the Ultrasound department, ensuring high-quality imaging services for patients and referrers. You will manage rosters, lead staff, and drive efficient workflows while maintaining exceptional patient care.

The role requires advanced sonography skills across MSK, OB/Gyn, and general ultrasound, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to service improvements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a Senior Sonographer or Modality Supervisor.
• Holds ASAR and professional indemnity insurance.
• Regularly participates in continued professional development and education.
• Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive, proactive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Supervise the practice workflow to meet nominated timeframes.
• Perform high quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations following protocols.
• Familiarise with all equipment to enable fluent examinations.
• Provide leadership in patient care with compassion, dignity and respect.
• Deliver high quality, safe service that is accessible and sustainable.
• Foster strong communication with team, patients, relatives, and the public.
• Demonstrate Advanced Sonography in MSK, OBs, Gyne and general US; mentor junior staff.
• Identify and arrange training for junior Sonographers as required.

About The Role

We have the rare opportunity for an Ultrasound Supervisor to join the Lake Imaging team to support the Ultrasound department by maintaining a high quality, efficient services for our patients and referrers; providing leadership and direction to staff under supervision; to managing rosters and leave for technical staff.

• Supervising the practice workflow to meet nominated timeframes
• Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols
• Be familiar with all equipment and accessories provided so that a fluent examination can be undertaken
• Demonstrate leadership in the treatment patients with care, compassion, dignity, and respect always and without compromise
• Provide high quality and safe service that is accessible and sustainable
• Foster good public relations and communications with your team, patients, relatives, visitors, and the general public
• Advanced Sonography in MSK, OBs, Gyne and general US - share your passion!
• Identifying training for junior Sonographers as required
